River to ridge Adventure tours is not responsible or liable for any loss or damage to personal belongings or for personal injury, accident or illness however caused. We advise you to have personal insurance as well as Insurance for your vehicle or bike (check wether you are insured for off road)




All drivers /riders must comply with River to Ridge Adventure Tour rules and regulations, sign an indemnity form and be licensed for a motorcycle or Vehicle, All bikes / Vehicles must also be registered.

The tour operates in remote areas and the operator reserves the right to alter the itinerary due to road, weather, operational or safety considerations.

Tours may be cancelled due to weather conditions.

Almost every type of off-road condition will be encountered eg. Dirt, Rock,Rivers, Creeks, Snow, Mud.


Full Payment is required on booking Tour and is non refundable within 30 days of a cancellation. Please see below for Hire bike Cancelation policy 



Our guides are trained in first aid and carry mobile telephones, UHF radio's (in vehicles), and a satellite SPOT tracker. 






Unlimited kilometres. Breakdown assistance, (only if reachable by 4X4). Free airport OR hotel pick up from Albury for rentals of more than two days.




Your current valid motorcycle licence




Your passport - your motorcycle riders licence from your home country - your international motorcycle riders permit (if above licence is not in English) VERY IMPORTANT - Often many overseas banks automatically prevent large credit card transactions being processed as a way to safe guard against possible fraud. To minimise any hold up when collecting your motorcycle, please inform your credit card provider of your trip and that large amounts may be processed on occasions. If you have any questions about this - please contact us in advance for advice.




Security bond amounts will be at a cost of $400.00. The deposit/bond is processed on a credit card or Cash on the day and refunded upon safe return of the bike undamaged. If in the case of miner damage under $400.00 we will get a quote done by our dealer and take amount out of bond and refund the rest. Please note that we are not responsible for any exchange rate fluctuations or other fees your bank may charge when refunding the deposit/bond. Also note that some banks take a few days to put the funds back into your account. It is your bank that dictates the length of time this takes not the refunding bank.




Rental price is per day from 9 am to 5pm time past that will incur an addition days hire unless other wise arranged with river to ridge adventure tours.  All bikes must be brought back to depot by 5pm even if you are hiring for longer then 1 day, they are to be stored overnight in our depot for insurance purposes.



You will be asked a number of insurance questions before hiring and only on approval from our insurance agency will we hire the bike.

The renter is liable for ALL damage. The bond amount of $400.00 paid covers any accidental damage to the bike. The insurance DOES NOT cover - rider for bodily injury or damage/loss of personal belongings. Supplementary travel insurance is advised. Loss of rental caused by extensive damage to the motorcycle rendering it unavailable for hire will also be charged to the hirer per day until motorcycle can be repaired. Insurance includes: damage to and/or theft of motorcycle. Renter is liable for excess amount. TAC will cover personal injury on a registered motorcycle on or off road. We strongly recommend ambulance cover.




In the event of a cancellation the following fees apply...

4 weeks before booking – Full refund

2 weeks before booking- 50% refund

1 week or less – no refund

If we do get a booking after you have cancelled and can recover our costs we will refund you the full amount.




Parking tickets, speeding fines and other penalties. A $50 fee may be imposed for the handling of unpaid fines. Fuel (except on guided tours). A $30 charge applies to motorcycles returned without a full tank of Premium Unleaded fuel. We we will require a receipt. 




It is vital that you have appropriate travel insurance, which offers cover while motorcycling. River to ridge adventure tours, its Agents, Assigns and Contractors accept no responsibility for a customer's failure to arrange appropriate cover. Please also note that cover is often void if a helmet is not being worn. We strongly recommend you cover yourself with travel insurance in case of accident and to ensure that if your personal circumstances change and you have to cancel your costs are covered.




It is a condition that you wear an approved crash helmet and protective clothing including body armour and Dirt bike boots at all times when riding your motorcycle. River to ridge adventure tours strongly encourages you to bring your own helmet for comfort reasons, however we can supply helmets, boots and clothing for an small fee should you choose not to bring your own.




In the event of mechanical breakdown or accident, report this to the emergency number issued to you by the depot. Do not undertake repairs without the prior agreement from River to ridge adventure tours representative. In the event of an accident (or theft), always report it to the police immediately, obtain a police report number, and notify river to ridge adventure tours. The depot will make every effort to provide repair facilities or a replacement motorcycle, but is not obliged to do so. Where a motorcycle has been crashed and is not able to be ridden any further, River to ridge adventure tours, are under no obligation to replace or supply another motorcycle for the completion of the hire and no compensation can be claimed by the hirer for the unused portion of the hire period.






Off road travel on remote gravel and dirt roads or tracks can be extremely dangerous unless you are well prepared and know how to deal with difficult situations. Every year tourists find themselves in trouble and some even die due to lack of preparation and knowledge. If you intend to ride on extremely remote roads then you MUST inform us of your plans. Should your bike break down for ANY reason on roads that are unreachable by 4X4 vehicle then you will be responsible for all recovery costs.





By booking a rental, self guided tour or guided tour you agree that you understand and agree to the indemnity release detailed below which is between you and River to ridge adventure tours, it's directors, employees or agents (hereafter called The Company). You must agree that you shall participate entirely at your own risk and that you, your successors, executors and administrators will release, indemnify and not instigate any claim, demand or expense against The Company for any personal injury, loss of life or damage to personal property suffered during or subsequent to events on the rental or tour. You must acknowledge that any road whether sealed or unsealed, or any other venue upon which you travel, may have sandy, dirt, steep, wet or rocky surfaces with defects either hidden or exposed as is the nature of some roads. You must agree to obey and observe all rules and directions given during a tour, whether given in writing or verbally by River to ridge adventure tours and that River to ridge adventure tours has the right to exclude you from any tour for non-adherence to any rule or direction given. You must accept that you are permitted to rent a motorcycle or take part in a tour on condition that you ride safely with due care and regard for other people and property. You must acknowledge that motorcycle riding, can be dangerous and that a motorcycle rental or participation in a tour organised and promoted by River to ridge adventure tours may expose you to the possibility of injury or death and further, you must acknowledge that the way other people may ride, drive or act is outside the control of River to ridge adventure tours. You must acknowledge that there may be no, or inadequate facilities for treatment or transport of participants if participants are injured. You agree that you understand that travel insurance to cover all forms of personal injury, repatriation or costs in the event of death is essential and it is your responsibility to ensure you have appropriate cover. You agree to wear appropriate motorcycle safety equipment at all times and that you are medically fit to undertake a motorcycle rental or tour. You must agree that you have read and understood the indemnity release and agree that the motorcycle rental or participation in a tour whether guided or self guided is entirely at your own risk.









Your access to and use of this website is subject exclusively to these Terms and Conditions. You will not use the Website for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms and Conditions. By using the Website you are fully accepting the terms, conditions and disclaimers contained in this notice. If you do not accept these Terms and Conditions you must immediately stop using the Website.




The contents of the Website do not constitute advice and should not be relied upon in making or refraining from making, any decision.




We reserve the right to:


3.1 change or remove (temporarily or permanently) the Website or any part of it without notice and you confirm that we shall not be liable to you for any such change or removal; and
